Turnips?!

So, I'm reading my nephew's blog and saw that as the 2nd food they introduced him to my brother chose TURNIPS!!

He's a little weird in general - but, come on...TURNIPS!? 

Granted, I've never eaten a turnip - that I know of and they may be delicious - but, come on - carrots? peas? sweet potatoes? 

 

P.S. DH just said, Carrots and Peas he can't have because he'll choke...um, mashed, honey, mashed Love that man!   Well, pureed...

Humm I have never had a turnip either. I wouldnt have thought of that as a starter baby food

Well, you've never had a turnip, so how do you know it's bad?

I must say..Turnips are AMAZING..well I've only had them mashed (like potatoes) with butter is ??????????????

As for chopped or anything I cant say..but as above mashed are awesome
