I had my babies in the stroller and I was pushing the stroller and pulling the cart. I stopped to read over my list, then I look up to see a little girl (probably 6 years old) with her head in the stroller putting her hand in my daughter's mouth. I firmly but politely said to her "what are you doing (out of shock and surprise)? please don't touch her or put your hand in her mouth. Thank you".
The mother says to me, "what did she do". What she meant is she knew what she did but what harm was it.
I said... "she was touching my daughter and putting her hand in her mouth"
She cut me off and said "but she was gentle" and then she pulls her daughter to her and says "weren't you gentle?". And then she went off on me. Yelling, I'm not kidding when I said yelling. She followed me yelling that I'm a mean women and how dare I tell her daugther to not touch MY babies and how gentle she was.
I said to her "my babies were born 2 months early and were in a hospital". She was livid screaming at me telling me I'm a mean lady and telling her daughter to never go around mean ladies. THen she's pulling her daughter and following me yelling at me. Other women were staring at her and giving her looks. I basically just tried to escape her. I finally did but then found a security guard. I checked out and asked him to escort me to my car because the women clearly was nuts. Seriously, she could've been on something.
I am so upset. I'm so protective over them. I immeditately started wiping them down with teh kiddie wipes I had. I didn't know if she touched my son.
Seriously, every other mother always says "oh twins, look but don't touch" to their kids. I've never seen someone tell ME
