    I really like it, and it's actually on our list if this baby is a boy. That said, I really hate the nn Gabe, but then again, I don't like nn in general.

    Yes I love this name and don't think it is used enough (I've met very few Gabriels). The nn is cute, too.

    I like it.  I've seen three babies (all newborn) within the last two weeks with this name at work.  Just a random coincidence, I think!  Besides that, I haven't seen it for a long time.

    I love it and would use it without any hesitation.  But I do want to share a story with you: I work with a woman whose son is Gabriel (nn Gabe) and he hates his name because it has "gay" in it.  He's 10 years old, if that matters.  I never would have thought of that, and the mom didn't either- it makes her really sad that her son hates his own name.

    I like it, don't love it.  I have a nephew named Gabriel- they call him Gabe.
    SAHM to 2 boys (3 & 16 yrs) & 2 girls (5 & 8 yrs)

    Never been a fan of Gabriel. Reminds me of Gabrielle so it's always seemed feminine to me. It's not a bad name though, just NMS. Gabe is NMS too.

    I agree with this!  Plus the Gabe I knew was really hot! ;) Probably not something you wanna hear about you sweet baby boy but maybe in 18 years or so!!!!!!!
