So we saw and heard the two heartbeats this morning! Baby A is measuring perfectly on schedule (7wks, 3dys), but Baby B is almost a week behind (6wks, 4dys), which isn't good. The nurse said they need to be within 5 days of schedule. She said it could go either way right now, we just have to wait and see . . .
Wait and see. . . soooo familiar . . .
I am so grateful that we have one that is looking healthy, but also a little sad that there is one struggling.
Re: Two HBs, but one is measuring a little small . . .
I'm glad to hear about baby A, and I'm sending all the good wishes I can for baby B. I hope they will both continue to grow and be strong! Hang in there.
Also, thank you for the birthday wishes!
One step at a time. Look at how far you've already gotten! Congrats on that.
My baby was measuring almost a week behind in the beginning. Granted, I didn't have twins so I don't know if there is a difference, but my doctor told me it probably wasn't viable and you know what? 20+ weeks later, my bean is doing great and thriving- in fact she's measuring way ahead now. Sometimes they just start off a little slow and grow in their own sweet time. So keep thinking positive thoughts! Lots of good thoughts coming your way!
IUI- BFN IVF #1 -BFP! Allie is our 2nd IVF baby. Born at 36 1/2 weeks after pre-e again
Lots of prayers for both sweet little beans!!!
Come on B...youdon't want your brother/sister to be ahead of you all the time!!
Sending you loads of t&p for 2 healthy babies!!
Fran - I really hope everything is okay. Sending big hugs.
Remember at 7 weeks measuring is not an exact science. The babies are so small that being off a teeny tiny amount can indicate that one is behind. I have read that there is some observer error during early U/S. At 7 weeks, 2 days one of mine measured 6 weeks, 6 days and the other measured 6 weeks, 1 day.
I cant imagine how difficult this much be. So many conflictling emotions. Sending positive energy that both A and B continue to grow and thrive.

Try not to worry! My BFF just delivered twins and had this problem all througout her pregnancy. At first they thought she only had one. Then at her 10 week u/s they saw another heartbeat but said it was week and over a week behind baby A. They told her baby B probably wouldn't make it. All throughout her pregnancy baby B has been over a week behind baby A.
Both babies were delivered early (34w5d) and they are fine! Baby A was 5lbs. 2oz and baby B was 3lbs. 15 oz.
GL!
