Let's see now:
1. Fridge broke at midnight last night making some terrible loud grinding noise. Had to be unplugged all night and repair man is here now - it's only 2 years old but of course not under warranty so who knows how much this will cost. And due to moving food to garage fridge and calling customer service, I got about 5 hours of sleep last night.
2. DH's car is acting strange, shudders a lot when started and kicking out bad smelling exhaust. So who knows if he is going to make it home from work tonight?
3. Had my year end eval discussion with boss last week and my one area of growth was to have more confidence in delivering tough messages and not be afraid of difficult discussions or situations - so of course, what am I facing today? A difficult discussion about why my group isn't going to deliver what my client thinks we promised to deliver (although we don't think we promised that) and I figure I can't turn to my boss like I normally would given that he just told me I need to step up.
I am on a 4 hour call right now, haven't gotten any lunch, and am feeling pretty darn stressed out. I just want to hide under some coats until everything goes away!

Thanks for the support - things have calmed down a little. The fridge is fixed now, turned out to be just labor so it was about $100. That's a lot but much less than what I was expecting. DH says his car was fine all the way to work so I hope that it will hold off fully breaking down for a while. And I have not yet had my confrontational call at work but I'm getting a little more calm and confident about it - it will be unpleasant but I'm trying to remain impartial and will try to not take anything personally.
And DH is being a sweetie about all of this so that helps a lot!
Glad to hear thing have calmed down a little.
I can relate to the fridge. Our less than two year old fridge died and I was so stressed. But the repair man had me call Amana to complain, Amana sent the parts for free, so all I had to pay for was for labor.
Hang in there! : )
