anyone experience leakage with these bottles? i think i'm going to try what i used with DS, avent bottles. i've wasted way too much precious breastmilk because of leakage. just wanted to know if anyone else had this problem. thanks!
Never tried them, because I read this a lot in reviews. We use the evenflo purely comfy (very similar, also an angled bottle) and have had no problems.

The one time I had that problem, DH didn't put the plastic part in the bottom.
Avent was the ONE brand they told us not to get at the breastfeeding class, supposedly even their super slow flow nipples are too fast (and don't want a bf'd baby to get used to a fast flow because they won't want to come back to you)
We use those and they leak sometimes if we tighten the top or bottom too tight (especially the top). Also, the directions said to make sure all the parts were dry before putting them back together. I don't know why this matters but I know that when I dry them I make sure the piece in the bottom has no water spots and we get less leaks. When my husband dries them he is less careful about getting them totally dry and they leak! I don't know if that will solve the problem or not.
I used Advent and they leaked all over no matter what I did I followed all the directions about not twisting too tight, using water, lining up the lines, nothing worked. They were annoying.

Hello bump, stop posting my comment before I type it thanks.
I've found the opposite to be true. The Avent stage 1 nipples are TOO slow.
I didn't have any problems at first, but two months later they are starting to leak. I am slowly fading them out. I love my Born Free and my Dr. Browns. I also use Avent, but have had some leaking with those, too. I know the lid trick, but when DD is hungry she has zero patience for waiting as mommy screws and unscrews lids. No leaks with Born Free or Dr. Browns!
Re: playtex ventaire advanced bottles...leaking??
sarah is a cutie!!
it seems to leak from the bottom twisty part. i pray it doesn't either because i have wasted way too much white gold on those darn bottles.
Thanks- we love her.
LOL I was just thinking the other day- whoever said not to cry over spilt milk didn't have to pump breastmilk
ditto. so are you going to switch bottles? if so, to what brand?
