Doing the happy dance (I dont EVER have to do the glucose test again)

Some of you know my issues with the glucose test (failed the first, didn't make the three hour one at all).  Well after three calls to the doctor after my 3 hour failure they never called back. I said forget it...if they were that worried they would call. 

I went to the doctor today.  Baby is measuring great, heart beat is great...then the dr asks about my glucose test.  I told him everything...EVERYTHING! It felt good to get that off my chest, and I didn't cry! LOL.  After we talked he understood the WHY finally.  Which just made my day.  I felt accomplished this morning. 

So he took a fasting blood test, and if that comes back at a normal range, we will do that for the next 2 months.  YEAH!!! I would rather give blood than ever do that test again.

That's great news! And fwiw, I failed the 3 hour (insulin resistance due to PCOS) but my fasting levels have always been normal.
