One of my good friends has a daughter with Williams and lives in the DC area as well.  Her daughter is almost exactly the same age as yours, too.  She was born in December of 2008.  Not sure if you would be interested in meeting her, but let me know and I could introduce you via email. :)

    Hi Duchess!

    I think I may know your friend already - does her name start with E and her DD's name starts with S?  If not, then I'd love an intro.  We have a good group of families with kids who have WS in the area - in fact we have a Mommy's Night Out dinner planned for this week and have almost 10 moms coming!

    That sounds like her - I should have figured you might know each other already.  That's awesome that you guys have each other and get together!  E is an amazing person - some weeks, she's what keeps me sane :)

    How funny!!  I actually haven't met her in person yet - just on Facebook, but she's coming to our dinner on Wednesday night so I'm looking forward to saying hello in person.

    Isn't it amazing how important good friends are??

    Aw thank you! That's so nice of you.  I was excited to finally figure out how to get Isabel's hair out of her eyes :)

    It really is amazing what a difference it makes to talk to someone who gets it.  E and I went to high school together and got reconnected by another friend.  We talk all the time and she is the sweetest person - you will love her!
