Becks has SPD: sensory seeker

I'd like to know who is on the same path that we are.

Thanks!

  • You know we are! He also has the diagnoses of PDD NOS, speech apraxia, and mild hypotonia. Ehh that was a mouthful!

You will forever be my best friend. I can almost feel our hugs. I will ensure everyone will know (now and in the future) what a genuine, kind, loving person you were...I already miss your laughter and our daily conversations. I love you, Samantha. May 20, 1983- February 20, 2012

  • Not a formal diagnosis.... but yes, DS is a sensory seeker and our OT works with him as such (also ASD, not just SPD here). I expect for the SPD issues to decrease at some point, but that is only a projection.

----Can I say that I can't look at your son's picture w/o thinking about the movie 'You've got Mail' when Tom Hanks takes the kids out for the afternoon... LOL! sorry, I had to get that out. I have thought about that no less than about 10 times.
