Preemies

newbie here

just wanted to introduce myself.. My twins were born at 34 weeks and 0 days and are still in the NICU... pics are below in my siggy.. I think this board is a great support system for the families that have preemies and have experienced NICU time... it's not easy but your success stories show me that there IS  a light at the end of the tunnel.. my little ones will also be home soon.. :o)

  • Congratulations on the birth of your twins!  And welcome to the board!  There is definitely a light at the end of the tunnel ... I'm glad you are in a place where you can see that now because that must mean your LO are doing well!

it's not easy.. but I am trying to see the positive side of things.. with a lot of help from DH.. there is a whole other side of it.. my emotions sometimes get the best of me where I don't feel like  real mom.. I can't hold my  babies when I want to.. we just got to hold DS for the first time yesterday.. but one day at a time.. and when I can't handle one day at a time, I try to get through one hour at a time....
