yes, the yogurt should be whole milk. D never cared for plain yogurt so I had to mix it with his purees and now I just buy him Yobaby yogurt cups which he loves! What is your MIL worried about?
i think she's worried about digestion? i just got back from working this weekend and dh just mentioned it tonite in passing. i read alot about introducing yogurt before i did it, but it's hard not to doubt yourself when one of the grandmas says something, right ?
i think she's worrying about whole milk being digestable and developing milk allergies later
I buy Stonyfield in whatever flavors they have available. It is lowfat, but DS drinks whole milk so I am not concerned. I like Stonyfield because its all natural and there are no artificial sweeteners or other sugars added.
Yep, she needs whole milk yogurt! Plain is best, if she'll eat it. Will never would, so we started buying the YoBaby cups. We now get the Horizon ones that are a mix of fruit, veggie, and yogurt because some days it's the ONLY way to get a veggie in him!
I use the exact same kind of yogurt, and Baby C hasn't had any problems. I usually mix a little fruit in there with it (applesauce, bananas, pears), and he loves it!

Ditto this. Caroline has become a picky eater and this is a good way to get a fruit, veggie, and some dairy in.
