question about gestational weight

My daughter Olivia was born at 33wks 6days due to complications from pre-e, HELLP.  she was also IUGR - she weighed 3 lbs 2 oz at birth.

my question is - I know every baby is different, but what gestational age would you say 3lbs 2oz is?  in other words, was Olivia the weight of a 30 weeker or 31 weeker?

I don't know any stats on this, but thought I'd give you my personal experience.  Our boys were born at 30w3d and they weighed 3lbs.6oz. and 3lbs.13oz.  I was told by quite a few doctors and nurses that they were "good sized" 30 weekers.  That they were actually bigger than most at that age.  So I'd say that a 30 or 31 weeker is a good estimate.  But they caught up in weight so fast that gestational weight never would have really mattered for us.

At 34 almost 35 weeks my DD was born at 3 lbs 13 oz.

My 30 weker was 4 lb 3 oz so it is really hard to say.

Our 31 weeker was 4 lbs even.

My twins were born at 33w6d, too. Elena was IUGR. She weighed 3lbs 1oz. She was measuring in between 30 weeks and 31 weeks.

My 32 weeker was 4lb 13oz. The nurses said a few times that he was big for his gestational age, they mentioned that a lot of 32 weekers are normally just under or just over 4 lbs.

As you can tell from everyone's responses, everyone has different experiences.  My son was born at 33 weeks and 3 days and weighed 5 lbs 4 ozs.  The NICU nurses said he was a very good size and one nurse even teasingly called him a "chunker".

My boys were also born at 33 weeks 6 days and my smaller one was 3lbs 2oz - just like yours, and my larger baby was 5lbs 4oz so I have no clue. I was also never told that my son had IUGR, just that he wasn't growing as well as the bigger guy.

Well, I had twins so its slightly different.  But my girls were born at 30 weeks plus a day and were 2 lbs 14 oz and 3 lbs 1 oz.  That was just over 50% for their gestational age.

My dd was born at 2lbs 15 oz (also iugr) at 32 weeks - the dr's said she was the size of a 28/29 weeker.
