Im sorry ladies

Hi ladies, Im so sorry! I did mean Atrial Septal Defect. It was silly of me to think thats what ASD meant on this board. I came over here wondering if anyone would be talking about heart defects ect and saw ASD a few times. I saw one lo with a scar on his chest and thought thats what you were talking about. I hope I didnt offend anybody. Not my intention at all. Sorry to intrude on your board.

Re: Im sorry ladies

  • Oh goodness, don't apologize! It's a confusing acronym since this board has a number of kids on spectrum.

I hope you stay and find the board of some use to you.

  • Yeah.... I commented to clarify but we are NOT an all autism board in the least (as all the other ladies cringe thinking how often we take over). You are in the right place, but your title probably won't be viewed by the ones you are targeting.

  • LOL @ syphillis. I still think of sexually transmitted diseases anytime someone puts STD as well.
  • It took me a while to get used to this acronym also.  I still look twice just to see which "ASD" everyone is talking about.  :)

DS has an ASD and a VSD and he just goes to see a Cardiologist yearly.  He is very active and doesn't seem to be having any problems.  One time I asked the Cardio if I should be watching for anything and he said "Meteorites, run a way cars...."  ....funny.  Sad  They aren't worried about him at all.  I don't blame you for wanting your LO checked but I am sure you two are ok.  :)
