canning ?

What type of things do you ladies can? ?My mom has canned since forever and my great, great aunt used to have a basement full of things that she canned, but I have never really done it myself. ?I know my mom does green beans, pickles, tomatos, different relishes and jams.

Now that I am thinking about doing it, I was just wondering what else do people usally can?

Re: canning ?

  • In addition to the usual jams, jellies and pickles, I also can stew, veggies and chili.  All of my recipes are in my blog (link in siggy).

If we'll eat it, I can it.

I'm a very serious canner, and am trying to organize a blog with all my knowledge & recipes.  It's my big summer project.  Stay tuned to my siggy for details!
