Is this normal?

I got my AF 31 days after D&E and here I am 35 days post d&e with a normal 5 day period behind me and I am still testing positive on a HPT. There is 0 chance I am pregnant again and the line is so faint I almost have to tilt it but it is there. Is that normal? My ob never tested my levels after the loss which is why I took the weekly preg tests to monitor it myself. I am surprised after 5 weeks and a period that I am not 0 even if I am close.

    Hmmm. I was under the impression that you couldn't get AF until your HCG was at 0. Maybe take another test???

    Thats what I thought too but I took one sunday night right before my period and it was positive and much darker than it was today after having my period for 5 days. Also, I took one the week before that ( 3 weeks after my d&c and it was as dark as the control line) It is going down but I had a solid 5 day period and I still have another line. I will take another one in a week or so thought just so I know it is 0 before I ttc again. I am waiting to have another cycle per my doctors advice.

    Could it be an evaporation line? Try a digital test maybe?
