Another BOB owner question

Would you put your BOB up against a Phil and Ted's?  I REALLYYYY wanted a Phil and Teds but DH just refuses to spend  $9000billion on one.  I'd just be using the BOB for running town lake and such, though if it's awesome then we might use it for our general purpose stroller too.  Can it be used for that, like going to the mall, amusement parks, etc?  Or is that uncool?

ETA: I just read that the front wheel is fixed.  I guess that makes them hard to turn if you're in the mall and such... hmm

I can't compare the BOB to phil and teds b/c I only own a BOB. I can say that I use the BOB as my everyday stroller. I never had a problem with the size of the BOB.

ETA: I don't consider myself "uncool"

i've used the BOB for everyday stuff and I run a lot, I am very glad we got the revolution/unfixed wheel. the BOBs have been our only strollers. (have single & double revs).

I have both and I love the BOB, DH loves the P&T.  I can't get the P&T folded and it pisses me the hell off every.single.time. DH thinks it's super-fab, though.

But I wouldn't want a fixed wheel for running errands.

If you get the BOB revolution, the wheel isn't fixed... but you can fix it if you want. I just picked mine up at REI today.
