I have been using the Baby Jogger City Select as a double stroller for two weeks. I really like the stroller. I do not think a "perfect" stroller exists, however, this one (at least for me) comes pretty close.
The Pros: It maneuvers like a dream! It is so easy to push with two kids. I took it to the mall the other day and was able to push it around through racks of clothes, etc., and it was as though I was pushing a single stroller. I was even able to push it one handed on multiple occasions.
I love the huge basket at the bottom. I took it to Target yesterday and was able to fit everything that I purchased in it.
DS loves it! I used to fight him to get into our old stroller and now he gladly will jump right in. He actually cried when I had to take him out of it the other day.
We went on a walk the other day and it began to rain and the sun canopy on DS's seat was so large that he did not get wet at all!
It is very easy to fold, however, I will admit that I wish it had a standing fold but I am willing to forgo it
The Cons: Although it pushes like a dream, it is taking me a little bit to get used to the handle. It is not rounded but rather it is flat (if that makes sense). Sometimes, it feels a little bit awkward when pushing, but overall that is not a big deal
I have the Peg Perego carrier and I will have to say that although I followed the instructions perfectly on installing the car seat adapter, I felt like the seat was not in securely. After playing around with it for a bit, I got it situated to where I want it. Another downside is that the carrier is kind of out in the open and so when it is sunny, the sun beats directly on DD. Her carrier has a sun canopy, however, that is not enough (i.e. there is not an additional sun canopy on the stroller). But it is easy to fix, because I just put a blanket over her and she is fine
I have not had two toddlers in it, but I put both seats on the stroller facing out and they are much closer than what they appear to be in the pictures. I also found that if you put the sun canopy in the higher position on either seat that it also decreases the amount of space between the two seats. With both seats on, I have had issues folding the stroller. I am sure it is due to the positions that I put the seats in but all of the videos made it seem really simple to fold and I found that it took a little but of maneuvering to get it to fold so easily.
Good luck to all who are thinking of purchasing this stroller
