Not that I really expect y'all to have an answer, but mostly just venting here. G has started this thing where she throws a major crying fit every time I change her diaper or get her dressed in the morning or put on her PJ's after the bath at night. She never did that before but now it is literally every.single.time I put her on the changing table. I mean legs kicking, big tears, screaming fits. It stops the moment I pick her up. Nothing traumatic has happened on the table or anything. What is that all about? It was hard enough when she started turning over and trying to get into everything on the table but this is ridiculous.
Re: Why is she throwing a fit when I change her?
Yup. It'll pass. And then come back. And then pass again.
I've been changing diapers while he stands up (thanks MC) and getting him dressed standing up. It takes a bit longer, but he doesn't have a hissy fit much now.
I've tried poopy diapers standing up and well it's messy...
I'm also back to potty learning to help alleviate some of our stress.
Hmmm interesting concept. I will try that but my inner mommy voice is telling me that I am not that talented. I can barely get her socks on while she is lying down thanks to her spread-eagle toes.
Glad to know it will pass soon (I'm choosing to ignore the part where you guys warned me about this phase returning).
Yes. This.
That's something we started w/ Jack MUCH later. We're talking like 1 1/2-2 years old.
Totally should look at how old the kiddo in question is before answering
I got this little toy that has a mirror on one side, and buttons that play music, make the toy vibrate or blink the eyes. it has teething sides and is awesome.
