Clomid and pain reliever

i was wondering if anyone knows if it is safe to take an otc pain reliever while on clomid. I did take two bayer asprins last night, i was having severe cramps and just couldn't go another night without sleep. My husband is freaking out bc he thinks it may make the Clomid not work? I'm thinking they don't work against eachother bc they both have two different purposes. Any information would be nice. Thank you!

I did clomid also and my doctor said the only thing I could take was Tylenol. I will have to say the cramping for me was very painful also, nothing helped even the tylenol. However, first cycle and I was pregnant so good luck.

you should not be taking aspirin if trying to get pregnant (unless you were specifically told to take the low dose of 81mg for a medical condition). 

Tylenol is the only pain reliever that is safe.

hm...oops! Ok so since I took a bayer asprin, do you think I just blew my chances for conception this month?

Prob not going to affect it when taken once. Are you in the implantation period right now?

No I'm not. I'm on my forth Clomid pill and ovulation hasn't occured and won't for a few more days. I called my doc yesterday after I read the posts that were sent and she said not to worry but to not do it again and to call her if i want to take anything. I just wasn't thinking I guess. I think though if it's Gods plan for me to conceive this month, he won't let two asprins stop his plan!
