Anyone else 4cm?

The first time my OB checked me was at my 35 week checkup.  I was contracting here and there so she checked.  I was 2cm.  The following week I was 3cm and now I am 4cm.  I am 60% effaced and -3 station so the head it way up there.  I have been feeling like total poop off and on and sometimes I have horrible contractions for hours at a time (even on monitors at the hospital).  They keep sending me home.  Just wondering if I am alone.

Luckily I am not there yet but with my sister's last pregnancy she was at a 4 for about 3 weeks.  She had a suppperrrrrrr quick labor though once she finally started real labor.  Maybe the same thing will happen to you.

You're not alone!  I'm 6 cm now!  I got sent home from the hospital a few weeks ago when I was contracting for hours at a time but I was only 3 cm then.  I haven't had anything prolonged since then though.

Wow I can't believe they sent you home at 6cm.  I am so uncomfortable (have my good and bad moments). Mostly it is just the being unsure of what to do and when to go.  I had to be induced with my first because I never dialated on my own.  This time is so much different.  I can barely get up and down off the couch.  Good luck lady!  I couldn't imagine!

I LOVE SUPER QUICK!  I mean as long as that doesn't mean so quick I don't make it to the hosptial (which is 45 mins away).  After being induced with my first and it taking what seemed like an entire week, I welcome quick!  Thanks you made me feel better!

they checked me Monday because I had some back pain but then had bright red discharge which they said was bloody show. they checked me I was 4c/75%/-4 they rechecked me yesterday because I was up all night w/ horrible back pain and was still at 4/75/-3. Its a waiting game, the only way my Dr will send me to deliver is if it active labor or my water breaks since I'm not full term. I can deal w/ the pain since the longer LO is baking the better off he is.

Me too!  The pain isn't steady and luckily when I sleep it doesn't wake me up so I am able to get rest.  My doctor told me she would break my water but I told her I would just stick it out.
