I'm taking my kid to the Coney Island where she will probably order chicken strips and apple sauce. I will probably order very greasy fish & chips. And it will practically be a date night for us because DH and I will be able to have an uninterupted conversation while our kid waits in line to get her face painted by a clown.
originally, I was going to say homemade mac & cheese....but I did not make my own macaroni noodles with homemade flour or process my own cheese or milk my own cow. Also, I plan to use dried spices. SO I guess it's not homemade after all.
oh, and salad

You're ALL pathetic, terrible excuses for parents.
We're having southwest chicken pasta, and I will be using canned tomatoes (because it's easier and spicier which MH likes even though fresh would be pretty easy), boxed pasta, and spices I bought at the store. Also, I bought pre-shredded parm cheese, because it does not go bad as quickly as a block of parm. BUT! I'm not talking about the green can of Kraft parm.
Oh and a salad (bagged lettuce!) and probably some garlic bread (not frozen, but bought french bread and then adding some stuff before baking).

Kielbasa, potatoes and frozen veggies (of course).
After reading all of today's food posts, I think I am being guilted into adding a salad and mentioning the kielbasa is all natural and not the preservative full, super processed kind.
"Homemade" pizza - ball of dough from the pizza place down the street, jarred sauce, shredded mozzarella from a bag, turkey pepperoni, and whatever onions and peppers I can dig out of the fridge.
and turkey sausage and fruit. And (LOL) DH has asked that I also make a few bisquick buttermilk pancakes because he doesnt like the taste of the whole wheat. He's pickier than any child!

Frozen tortellini with (gasp) jarred sauce. Salad (bagged lettuce) but I cut my own veggies and made my own dressing. Girls had baby carrots. Probably some grapes or strawberries.
Oh and my dessert??? A huge apple dipped in caramel and milk chocolate! They were $1 off for earth day at a local chocolate shop!
Re: Do I dare ask....WFD?
Black bean soup and corn muffins
ETA: I'm using canned beans, jarred bullion, and premade salsa from the deli in the soup!
Meatloaf, Mashed Potatoes, Roasted Asparagus
Red wine. Lots and lots of red wine.
Sure beats canned peas, eh?

Whole wheat blueberry pancakes...the blueberries aren't organic (for shame)...

Neither dh or I wanted to cook tonight but we didn't want to go out to eat either, so:
Risotto w/asparagus (frozen from Trader Joe's)
Roasted garlic chicken (grabbed from the deli case at the store)
Salad (from the salad bar at the store)
Frozen tortellini with (gasp) jarred sauce. Salad (bagged lettuce) but I cut my own veggies and made my own dressing. Girls had baby carrots. Probably some grapes or strawberries.

Oh and I'm not sharing!
