Sorta update from a week or so ago...

So He's accepted the offer with the other company. Hated his first day and the next two days were better.

He needs to be in class Friday, so he'll be staying the weekend and will be home Friday (the 30th) so the big are we moving talk won't be until that weekend. Right now, I'll say we are teetering towards moving, but it's not certain yet.

 Anyway, that's where we are for those that care

Dudette, he was not a happy camper about the way things went down in the end. We decided he'd give it this week and see if he thought he could stick it out a year or so there. 

I'm still so confused and frustrated over everything, but he seems to be having a good time today doing real work.  So I'm going to say it looks like we're heading to California. (Silicon Valley).

I asked for generic dust.

I think someone sent us some move dust though

I'm torn btwn being excited and sad. I loe all the friends I've made here, but if we were ever to move, it's good to do it before real school starts and stuff. 

I just want hubby to be happy at work again. He's been working for CA companies remotely for almost 5 years now. 

He's been happy and unhappy and ambivalent. We're lucky he works with his hobby and when the job fits it's absofreaking awesome. But some of the places he's worked being remote has sucked big time. So This one put in moving in the paperwork so we'll see how long we can drag it out (if that's what we want etc).

It's still all swirly and like I said, if he doesn't think he'd like to be there for a year, he'll take a local job he was offered.

I'd like to point out that this was not me.  I hope whatever happens that he does end up enjoying his job. The thought of you moving makes me very sad. If you do we are definitely coming to visit!

Aw man!  Suck-age!  So sorry you are going through this - I can imagine how stressful it is not knowing what is gonna happen.  BUT, if you do move, would that mean DH wouldn't have to travel as much?  That would be a good thing, right?  But we would definitely miss you :-(  Hope it all works out and keep us posted!!!!
