For those that had an NT Scan

How long did it take for you to get your result?.  It's now been 10 days and no results yet.  They said it might take up to 2 weeks (but last pregnancy, I got the results in a week).  I'm getting impatient.

When did you have your blood work done for the 1st tri screening? As far as I know the results of the uslrasound are supposed to be combined with blood work and only then they are conclusive. Since I went for my blood work 2 weeks before the NT scan, they told me my numbers on the spot after they completed the utrasound for NT scan. I was still on the u/s chair. We did, however, proceed for the CVS right away even though my numbers were good.

They did the bloodwork at the NT Scan - but they did it the same way last time.

They told me the neck measurement right on the spot and took blood that day and I had my results in 7 days.

I just waited until my next OB appointment which was about 2-3 weeks after the bloodwork and ultrasound.

But the results may have been available earlier I just waited to find out. Have you called to see if the results are in?

Thanks.  I called yesterday and they didn't have them.  I was told the neck measurements and they were in the normal range.

With DD#1 I got the fold measurement during u/s and the bloodwork about a week later (the lab was right there).

With DD#2 we didn't do the bloodwork since the u/s was not good.

I think I got my results within a week as well, we did NT scan and bloodwork at the same time.  10 days does seem long, maybe you can call and ask them when they expect them?  Did they give you an estimated time frame?

Edit:  Sorry, I just re-read your original post and saw they told you 2 weeks.  I don't know why it would take that long but if that's what they told you then 10 days doesn't seem outrageous.  I'd be impatient too, though!!

We had the bloodwork ahead of time and got our results with the genetic counselor the day of the untrsound.

We went on Wednesday and they told us the results of the ultrasound right away (both the neck and the nasal bone) and the blood test results were due back Monday or Tuesday.  I actually just got the call with the final (good) results a couple of hours ago.  It was so nice not to have to wait over the weekend.  Good luck!
