Alright- per our Pediatrician's suggestion & personal research, I'm going to try to keep Mason rear-facing until 2 yrs old...preferably up to 35lbs if he'll let me BUT he's started this awful thing where he tries standing up pushing his feet/legs into the back of the seat when I buckle him in. It's completely annoying!
Anyone have any tips- his struggle makes it at least an additional 5-10 min challenge getting him securely fastened in.
Re: WWYD Rear-Facing Toddlers?
even forward facing, Avery is sometimes hard to get in the car seat - we usually bribe her with Cheerios.
But..>I'm an awesome mom like that.
Hannah was so tall that there was no way we could keep her rear facing because her legs would have been all bunched up.
I turned her at about 14 months.
She is 4 and is only 34 pounds

Amanda-
Don't feel bad if you make the decision to go FF. Allie was getting the same way, and was finally 20 lbs, so we turned her 2-3 weeks ago. She has been so much better!
Exact same thing for Kenley. Although she's not even 2 and already 30 lbs.
