I hate it when

my posts come across like I am totally stressing about things.  Just had to get that out there.  I feel like sometimes I post things and the way it sounds in my head is not the way it reads and people probably think I am a total stressball about being a mom--which is totally not where my stress lies...I am pretty calm when it comes to being a parent--I didn't even stress when all those cloth diapers I bought gave my son diaper rash and had to buy a ton of new liners and now am stuck with a bunch of inserts, but that is neither here nor there at the moment...now my job induces most of my stress, but that is another story.

just had to put that out there. At the moment, parenthood is not a stressful thing for me.Big SmilePeace Out!

  • Well, with your previous post, you said that the issue was bothering you so much that you weren't going to bed. That, combined with previous food-related posts does really make it seem like this is an issue that really, really stresses you out. At least to me.

I am glad that you're not stressed though, and sorry that my advice about ways to help yourself relax was misguided.

About six months ago - I hated my job, and I hated my life.  Seriously.  I got a better one and I am leaps and bounds happier.  I blame outside stressors.  They suck!

Your post wasn't misguided, nor was your advice.  It reminds me to take a third look at my posts to make sure I don't sound overly worried when in reality I am not.  I appreciate the advice.  No worries. Big Smile I wasn't in bed because I am stressing about the end of the school year and that is keeping me up at night.

I didn't realize I sounded so stressed about food issues =).   L is usually a very good eater....we haven't had issues since the beginning of introducing "solids".  I am sure I sound totally wishy-washy now.

  • This post kinda makes it seem like you were stressing about people thinking you were stressing about something you weren't necessarily all that stressed about at all, when really you were stressed about something entirely unrelated.

But I'm glad you posted to clear up the confusion.
