ETA: PRN means "Pro Re Nata" (Latin: for the existing occasion; as matters are; as needed). It's used in prescriptions and also in nursing as a scheduling term. If you're not FT or PT, you're PRN - called in or scheduled as needed. Just in case that confused anyone ![]()
