I had Pre-E with DS and the one thing I can't seem to remember is what
my initial high blood pressure was that tipped my doctor off to pre-e.
My blood pressure has been slowly climbing since the beginning of my
pregnancy and my doctor hasn't seemed worried yet, but I am. I started
out about 106/60 and am now at 130/80 give or take a couple numbers.
Do you remember what your blood pressure is/was when your doctor took
notice?
Re: Those who had/have Pre-E do you remember what your BP was when diagnosed?
186/113
They usually are looking for anything over 140/90
My Blog
Bwah ha ha ha...
My OB told me to drink more water and lie down when my bp was 172/107. So I wouldn't go by them. My promary doc was concerned when it would hit mid 140s over high 90s.
*getting mad all over again at my ex-ob.
Um... the highest specific I remember was about 278/150, but it may have gone higher and I don't remember.
Nope, not a typo.
150/86 at the beginning of my appt. and 160/90 at the end of the appt. it was at this point they sent me to L&D for monitoring.
I had PIH before pre-e. Once there was protein in my urine, I was diagnosed with pre-e. I think my numbers were around 160/80. When I had my c-section, it was 200/115.
I took my bp at work and it was 140/100. It had gone down to 140/90 by the time I got to the hospital.
Mine was a sudden onset, though. Two days before, it was 120/80.
150/110 for admittance and subsequent induction "superimposed pre-e" was the diagnosis.
120s/96 was my first L&D appearance (approx. 2 weeks prior).
