I got a lot of information from the eco friendly family board before I started.
When T was a newborn I used mainly s fuzzibunz and prefolds with covers. She was a big baby so we were into our bum genius one size by about 8 weeks and we are still using those at 14 months. I think it's recommended that you have at least 2 dozen to start with, assuming you're doing laundry every other day.
These days she is in medium fuzzibunz and prefolds, just some standard infant sized ones. I also have a couple of Haute Pockets that I really like.
A lot people suggest trying one of the trial packs/rentals to figure out what you like.
pinstripesandpolkadots.com is another good resource
Re: Cloth diapers...
Just anything you want to share...
what kind you used? what different kinds you tried and didn't like? which were you're favorites? how many will I need? what else will I need?
I'm completely clueless about cloth diapering.
TIA
