Rocker/Glider Rec

What kind of rocker or glider did you get?  Any kinds or certain brands that you really love/hate.  I'm leaning more towards a swivel/rocker instead of the traditional looking glider.  TIA

We have an upholstered Dutailier Rocker & rocking ottoman (purchased from www.albeebaby.com) and it's been a great investment. Very comfortable & big enough for tall people (not me!). It's slipcovered (but a perfectly tight fitting one so it doesn't budge) and I'll use the glider in my all-whites-creams sunroom when M's room transistions to a big boy design. The glider was my "splurge" in the room and very worth it

We have a dutailer glider that was handed down to us from family. I had the cushions reupholstered to match K's nursery.

It's super comfortable and I agree with Amanda... it's a great "tall person" glider. I'm 6'0 and DH is 6'2 and we fit in it great.

This is my soapbox topic - whatever you do, DO NOT skimp on the rocker glider.  We got a crappy one from Walmart and I hated that thing.  I definitely recommend investing in a nice one (Best Chair, Dutailer, etc) because you can use it long after baby.  We ended up buying a regular upholstered rocker/glider/recliner that we plan to use in the living room when we're done rocking babies = )

one of the appeals of the best chair to me was that it didn't scream "nursery" - it's microsuede and wonderful!
