So I've figured out how to share iTunes w/ DH for his iPhone and my/our iPod. We have an iPod classic w/ crazy amounts of storage, but his iPhone doesn't have nearly as much. We need to sync iTunes w/ his phone but he does not want all the music that I've been ripping to iTunes to load on his iPhone b/c he does not have the space.
Can someone tell me how to only load certain songs/albums to an iPhone? It seems like iTunes automatically starts synching the entire library - so by the time I go to devices/music tab to select certain stuff - I'm not sure that would work?
I'm new to all of this, so sorry if it's a really stupid question.
Re: NBR - iPhone/iPod question
here's a link to the How to iPhone instructions off of Apple's website.
https://www.apple.com/iphone/how-to/#ipod.syncing-content-from-itunes
When you open iTunes and the iPhone is plugged in, you'll see the phone in the device list at the left side of the application.
Click on the name of the phone, then in the main window you'll see tabs > Click on MUSIC. Un-check the box at the top that says Sync music > this will stop the phone from syncing with your entire music library. Then to add music to your phone, all you will then need to do is drag the songs / playlist to the phone in the left column and you should be set!
