Need an Endocrinologist Rec please!

I have recently been diagnosed as having a hypothyroid condition by my pcp. Do any of you have any recommendations for an endocrinologist?  I am in the Suwanee/Johns Creek area but would travel for a good dr.

I see Dr. Mahakala at North Atlanta Endocrinology in Lawrenceville for Hyperthyroidism. (I was actually at the office today for blood work) I like her but she is hard to understand at times so I bring my husband with me to my appointments. One of my good friends sees and likes her as well.

I've also heard good things about Dr. Shore.

I see Dr. Judson Black and he is wonderful! He came very highly recommended. He is board certified in both endocrinology and internal medicine. His office is located next to Northside Hospital.

I see a NP at Atlanta diabetes associates at Piedmont. I've seen her and Dr Davidson since I was dx at 18. Dr D is really old so not taking new pts but I think u can get in to most of the others there. I've always been happy w/ the NP Pat Richardson so I just stick w/ her! You will be so amazed at how much better u feel when this is fixed!

Before I knew I could get pregnant and was having major hormonal issues, a few people recommended a group in Roswell - their website is seedreed.com - I think it's South Eastern Endocrine and Diabetes and one of the docs is Dr. Reed. One of my coworkers is in LOVE with Dr. Gunna there and had great success with some treatments through them.
