thermometer/temp ?

does anyone have the exergen temporal artery thermometer from costco?  if yes, would you recommend?  i've been thinking of purchasing.

Yes and we love it. It gives a quick easy read to determine if she has a fever and if I need to (haven't had to yet) I have a rectal thermometer as well so I can take a rectal temp for an exact reading. 

I like that we can use it while she's sleeping and it (usually) doesn't wake her up. And it take like 2 seconds. Which is awesome. The only thing that sucks is the display is not backlit, so in the dark I have to hold it up to something or turn on a light to read it. I just take my cell phone with me and use it as a quick flashlight.

Ditto MrsBeckO - excellent for quick checks. I'd feel really guilty if I checked Abby's temp rectally every time I thought she felt a little warm! We love ours.
