i wanted to respond to your 4 month wakeful ? yesterday but our internet at home was down:(

we went through/are still dealing with a similar situation with max.  he was sleeping entirely through the night and then about 2-3 weeks ago he started waking again in the middle of the night anywhere between 1 and 5am.  i typically give him a bottle because along with the waking at night he gets super distracted during the day and sometimes eats like crap so i'm pretty sure he waking up to try and get the missed calories.  this week, its been harder to get him to go back down after he wakes because all he wants to do is play with his feet:)  its a good thing he's so stinking cute, otherwise i would be losing my mind.  just wanted to let you know that someone else was going through something similar!  hope H gets her sleeping mojo back!

  • Thanks for the reply and I'm sorry you're going through the same thing. H slept until 5:30 this morning (which is when we get up), so I have no idea what's going on with her internal clock. I'm sure we have many other inconsistent nights ahead of us. While not ideal, I can handle her waking up once around 4. But if she starts waking up multiple times a night, I have a feeling we'll be in trouble. Now that I'm back at work, I need at least five hours of sleep to function the next day. I hope things get better for you!
