quick cooking question

I have an oatmeal choc chip cookie mix that calls for a stick of butter and I have unsalted butter only...will that do?

I use unsalted in all of my recipes.

I think unsalted is usually what they want you to use. I actually only buy the salted and I use that, and they come out fine as well.

Unsalted is the preferred butter for baking because then you aren't altering the salt content of the recipe at all.
