teething

(This is in no way meant to bring up the earlier sleep debate)

If you Feberized, do you do it while your LO is teething?  DD normally goes to sleep with little fuss every night since we Feberized, but tonight she has been crying for 1/2 hour.  I gave her tylenol before bed, so it should have kicked in by now.  I have gone in twice to calm her, but she is so upset.  Do you stop Feber during teething?  Should I get her?  Of course DH is at work and I can't get a hold of him (he won't be home untiol 4:00 this morning).  What should I do? Advice please!!

 

ETA: I went in and got her.  Have I ruined my Feberized child?  I just couldn't take it.

yep, go to her! I'm pretty sure you're not supposed to Ferberize while teething. You may have to re-Ferber later, but while teething all sleep training goes out the window.

Thanks!  I couldn't remember what I was supposed to do and of course DH didn't answer the phone, but I was glad I went in and got her.  I think she just needed some mommy love because she gnawed on a teething ring a little, and then just cuddled with me for awhile before going to sleep.  Poor thing.  She looked so pitiful.  We really didn't have to deal with lack of sleep with the bottom two, so this is our first time to break the Ferber methods.
