omg. craigslist purchase...

I found something on CL that I was wanting for the boys.  I emailed back and forth with the girl and talked with her on the phone.  Totally normal sounding, lives in a nice neighborhood here in town.  

So, I get the boys in the car and we head over.  Not kidding you had she not been standing outside with the item I would have hit the gas and sped my behind out of there.  She had an old-school van parked in her driveway that was  spray painted red and black.  It had a full-sized skull in the dashboard.  Jake said 'look mommy, a ghost'.  Her one dying tree in the front yard had a scull and crossbones hanging from it. She was all sorts of tattooed up and I'm talking girl that Jesse James got caught with tattooed complete with forehead tattoos.  She may be the nicest person in the world but I feel for her neighbors who have to live looking at that mess of a house, not to mention the bones hanging from her tree.

This is the reason my husband HATES me shopping off CL.

    Haha!  It was actually two exits south (right off the highway) so considered Round Rock, but it was a neighborhood that you wouldn't think 'oh, skulls in trees'.  I'd be contacting the HOA daily if I was her neighbor!
