The name Jordan....is it corny spelled Jordyn?

One of my co-workers just told me that is what he is naming his dd. Not sure how I feel about it.

I don't like it. I don't know if "corny" is the word I would use, but I don't think it looks nice. I hate the adding of a "y" to a traditional boy's name in an attempt to make it look girly.

I know about 6 little girls named Jordyn- all spelled that way. All the boys are Jordan. I don't like the name for a girl regardless of how you spell it.
