QOTD: What other Bump/Nest boards do you lurk/post on?
ANNOUNCEMENT: BathinginBitter has started a PRIVATE Facebook (meaning no one can see it in your feed, that your are a member, etc.) for the ladies from IF and SAIF who used donor egg/embryos or donor sperm. If you would like to join, please page Bathing in Bitter and ask to friend her on FB so she can invite you to the group. This might be a nice way to keep in touch in a more private setting and address issues that may arise down the road.

I am loving all the activity in this check-in lately!!! So many of you are cycling / getting ready to cycle!!
Update: Everything is quiet with me, the dreaded gluclose tolerence test is next Friday...did I mention how much I hate orange flavored anything?!? That and only 4 more days until double digits? Yikes!!
QOTD: I lurk on the trimester and birth month boards but rarely post there, I post on SAIF and lurk on Money Matters and Politics/current events. I still consider this board my home board though!!

Update: My donor met with my RE on Sunday to discuss protocol, etc... like you mentioned above, she is expecting AF on 04/24 (Saturday), so she will go in for her day 3 on Monday! I have my annual next Thursday and am scared to death that if something comes back abnormal, I am going to hold this entire process up! I am freaking out on the inside, but trying to remain calm on the outside.
We have finalized our contractual agreement with our lawyer and our donor. And, we have had both meetings with our psychologist and our report is being sent to my RE today. So, things seem to be moving along! Keep your fingers crossed for a good annual for me!
QOTD: I am not active anywhere anymore... I feel like I don't really fit in anywhere specificially anymore. I know the IF board is really my home, but I am afraid my terrible journey will scare the sh!t out of most newbies, and is a place, although I am 100% comfortable, I know 99% of people hope they are never in my shoes... so, I don't really post anywhere anymore. I support when I can, but I mostly just lurk on IF now.
Oh my gosh, it is so wonderful seeing all these "new" names on here!!!! I wish each and every one of you all the luck in the world!!!
Update - We have 1 frozen embryo from our DE cycle. I would go back now and use it, but, we are going to California in August and I don't want to possibly be early pregnant and worry about flying and carting an 8 month old around, so, we're going to use it in September. I'm going to make an appointment with my RE in the next few weeks to talk about it and do whatever testing I need to do.
QOTD - I'm a regular poster on my local New Jersey Nest board and on SAIF.

Well, besided being an avid IF follower, I lurk a lot on the 6-12 board, and post on Multiples and Fashion and Beauty boards. It is kind of odd, but I never got into SAIF, I usually don't even lurk there since so much of it has to do with being pregnant, I just don't relate to anyone there.
Status Update: Where are you currently with the de/surrogacy process? Since we made our decision to accept my in-laws loan, I have a consult scheduled with our RE next Wednesday. Currently I'm on my third RE but she has left the practice so we're going back to our 2nd RE to get some questions answered about their statistics. In the meantime, I will be scouring online for possible other clinics who may be able to offer more donors of Asian descent.
QOTD: What other Bump/Nest boards do you lurk/post on? My home board used to be What's Cooking but then some of the posters were becoming pregnant and I started hanging out more & more on the IF board. I also lurk on MM, F&B, and post on Gardening. I also post on my local board as well. When I first log on, I head straight to IF board then move from there.

WE'VE BEEN MATCHED WITH A SWEET LITTLE BOY!! -4/5/11
Status Update: My single embryo FET got me a BFP! My first beta at 12dp5dt was 157 and today's beta at 14dp5dt was 421. So a really good doubling time and my RE is happy. Next beta is on Thursday. It's the doubling that matters most right? I'm very cautiously excited!!!
QOTD: I lurk a lot on SAIF because I love seeing IF success stories.
I also post every once in a while on the Baltimore Nestie's board. But mostly, just a lurker because I miss most of the activity during the day at work.
I love seeing the activity on this check-in! (even though it sucks that any of us have to be here)
QOTD: I lurk on SAIF and occasionally post to people I "knew" from when they were on here. I don't have time or inclination for anything else.
Update: Should know within the hour whether my donor will trigger tonight - eek!

Update: Our appointment last Friday went well. I am doing a mock ET cycle starting with estrogen shots tomorrow to see how my lining progresses. After that, we have to get things in order financially and then we will be ready to select a donor. It seems surreal but exciting.
QOTD: I feel most at home on IF. I do lurk on SAIF to get hope from others who have made it to the other side.

Hi! No real update, just checking in since I haven't been here in a while.
DH has his (repeat) SA on 4-30. The first one, if you did not see my post ranting about it, was an unmitigated disaster.
Update: I'm just hanging out waiting for my big ultrasound next Monday. Wishing and hoping for two healthy heartbeats!
QOTW: My 'home' board has been TTC+35, but like many of you, I feel like my history is discouraging to those just coming on board. I have been lurking on Infertility, occasionally posting about DE or in response to those I know. Since the BFP, I have started lurking on 1st Tri and my birth month board, but especially Multiples, which I hope to officially join next week.
