Feet and legs are purple....um, should I worry about this?

I've had very swollen feet/ankles for the past few weeks.  My BP is normal so doctors just chalk it up to normal pregnancy swelling.  Well today when I got out of the shower my feet and legs from thigh down were purple and splotchy.  Also last night my hands kept falling asleep.  My OB office is at lunch, but I'm going to call the nurse this afternoon.  Is this something I should be freaking out about??

They are purple or red? If red, I would say maybe you got overheated in the shower? But I don?t know. I would call, that would freak me out.

i'd call. i had elevated bp two times that they measured it the day of induction. cam creep up anytime...can't hurt....

Nurse said it's not abnormal, so I guess all is well!!
