I don't know about Hypnobirthing, but to the best of my knowledge, the only Hypnobabies instructor in the area is Marianne Calvanese, and she is in south Austin. We ended up just buying the home study guide for Hypnobabies.
The reason we opted for Hypnobabies over Hypnobirthing is that a lot of mamas on Mothering.com told us that Hypnobabies takes Hypnobirthing one step further and teaches you how to easily put yourself into a hypnotic state and come back out quickly when interrupted, which happens often in a hospital L&D setting. The home study guide was, IMHO, worth the price for the CDs, the coaching scripts and the listening schedule. Most of the other info in the instruction book was geared toward women having a hospital birth, which didn't apply to us. Or it was basic pregnancy/birth info that we already knew because we'd BTDT.
We did Hypnobirthing with Liz and Heather at HypnoBirthing of Central Texas. Highly, highly recommend. The classes taught me a lot about relaxation and really helped me learn to calm my mind and body, even just for the purpose of sleep. I continue to use the skills to this day! The classes eliminated almost all of my fears about childbirth, and I don't think I would have been able to go med free had I not done them. Though my daughter was born via a c-section at the VERY end of my labor due to an extremely rare medical emergency (I was already pushing and almost had her out when it occurred), I still felt that I had a wonderful, mostly pain-free labor because of the things I learned in Hypnobirthing.
I know a couple of gals on here mentioned they felt like they should have practiced the HB techniques in more distracting environments because that's what you'll experience during your labor in hospital, but I didn't feel like that was necessary for me. They pretty much left me the hell alone during my labor; I don't remember anyone but my nurse and DH. Either they were the only ones there, or HB works even better than I thought and I was able to block out the presence of anyone else!
If you're hiring a midwife or a doula she may have the Hypobabies CD's and scripts you can borrow. Mine did, and I just plan to rip 'em all to my iPod.
