I've been trying to get Little to eat something other than Gerber meat sticks for a while now and I think he actually likes chicken nuggets now! I just bought the Tyson ones, but are there better ones? What kind do you buy?
We actually buy the soy/meatless Morningstar Farms nuggets because we like them better than actual chicken nuggets, and in my mind they're healthier (who knows if that's actually true....) Obvi we haven't given any to Baby A yet, but DH and I love them.
If you were looking for a "better" option (and by that I assume you mean healthier than the packaged ones?) you could try making them yourself with seasoned breadcrumbs and baking them.

This! They're so easy to make, and you can make a bunch and freeze them. The frozen ones you get at the store, IMO, don't seem much like actual chicken. More like chicken product. But D loves the ones we make at home.
We bought the Tyson ones, too. They've been great but we're going to start making our own after we finish this bag. I would rather her have more chicken & less breading, KWIM?
we got the mickey mouse ones at costco for days when i am wanting something easy for our lunches. theyre actually really good, made with all white meat chicken, whole grain breading.

They were really good, and they seem to be relatively good for you. I understood the ingredient list when I read it anyway. I guess they're pretty pricey though, I had the groupon so I didn't pay attention to price too much.
But we also discovered an easy awesome way to make kickass nuggets....cut chicken breasts into nugget form, dip in egg wash and panko bread crumbs. Simple but they turn out really good.

I've made them this way too, and they're really good and easy to do. I just wish E would eat them, he still has big issues with texture.

I buy the Earth's Best, the Mickey Mouse from Costco, or the Ian's. I have bought the Tyson in the past, but think the others have a better taste IMO. They are all made with 100% white meat chicken (no fillers, etc), it's all about the breading.
