If you've done the MoD walk before...

how long were you there? Our walk is Sunday and is supposedly 5 miles. Since I'm bringing the babies I'm trying to figure out approximately how long we'll be there. How long does a 5 mile walk take?

    Ours is 3 miles, and I want to say it was about 3.5 hours from start to finish, including the ceremony at the end...

    Our group is usually pretty big with lots of kids in strollers, wagons or even on tricycles so it takes us a long time.  I'm going to say maybe 30-40 minutes per mile?

    Last year the walk was 5 miles too. I can't remember exactly how long it took but I think close to 3 hours. Of course we had to stop on the way so I could feed Brandon and give him a bottle. We are doing the walk on Sunday too but in Ocean Grove.
    Conceived twins with IVF January 2008. Lost baby a at 20 1/2 weeks due to premature rupture of membranes and held onto baby b. Baby b (Brandon) born at 26 weeks and 1 day on July 5, 2008.     We just had our walk on Sunday and it was only 2.5 miles. We arrived at 8 a.m. to get a good spot and stood around for almost an hour. The walk didn't start until 9 a.m. and we were done by 10:15 a.m. And we were home by 11. Sorry I can't help you on how long it will take to walk 5 miles. Good luck on Sunday.

    Our 3 mile walk kicked off at 10 and we left at almost 1.  We were the LAST to finish.  God bless my MIL who huffed and puffed but finished...she wouldn't miss it for the world
