My DD always had blowouts in Huggies and when I switched to Pampers it was a huge improvement. I don't know if it was just her or if the diapers really are better, but i'm just going to go straight for pampers once DD#2 gets here.
Lol, I had the exact opposite experience! I've had the best experience with Huggies with all 4 of my kids. My next choice would be Pampers, but they always seemed to leak. I tried Luvs too....liked the price, but they have some kind of fragrance that always caused rashes on my babies skin.
We did cloth but honestly, it really depends on the kid. One brand works great for one kid but not so great for another. Now when we used disposables, we used the cheaper Huggies (snug and dry) because I liked how those fit DS better than than the cheaper Pampers (Baby Dry).
Depends on the kid. My nephew used pampers- didn't do well in any other. My DD does ok in Huggies, not at all good in Pampers. She was doign good in Walmrt brand but they've changed them recently and she didn't do well in them anymore- leaks (not from being full). Luvs has been the best in maintaining a good quality and no leaks unless its overnight and she sleeps in late.
Luvs is less expensive than pampers or huggies too so thats a bonus.
When kids were teeny tiny babies, I only used Pampers Swaddlers. Once they grew out of them, I switched to generic, usually BJ's or Walmart brands.

I loved Pampers Swaddlers for the first few months and then I really liked the Pampers Baby Dry. Now we use the Sam's Club brand and I love those as well.

After they grow out of swaddlers, I switch to generic. For J the best diapers are CVS ultra thins. For Anthony, BJs brand.
I think it all depends on what fits your kid the best
I use cloth...but when I do use disposables I use Target brand.
