Did you sleep train them in the same bedroom? We don't have two baby monitors so unless I go out an buy another one I don't really want to do seperate rooms. I know my DD will cry as soon as I lay her down awake, but my DS is pretty good (most nights) about going to sleep and putting himself back to sleep if he wakes up. Do I still put them to bed @ the same time and let him get used to her crying or do I put him in his crib after she's asleep and risk ruining his nighttime routine?
I'm planning on using the Ferber Method (No flames please:)
Re: Sleep Training
this. though i won't lie and say it didn't stress me out at first!
sometimes one baby will cry when the other has stopped crying. they are so used to each other, that they often sleep through the other's crying.
We did it same room and put them to bed at the same time. Sometimes it woke the other and sometimes not. After a few nights I wanted to put them in different rooms but DH really wanted to keep trying with the same room. In the end, it was the right decision because now they can go to sleep even if the other one is crying or fussing.
We are doing the same for naps now that we are trying to get them on a nap schedule.
