Enfamil Gentlease vs Generic brand

What are you thoughts on the generic brands of formula? We are using the Enfamil Gentlease now- 

I know there is a Babies-R-Us brand, and I think Walmart has one too- any thoughts? benefits of using? or problems? Should I mix formulas and switch over slowly? are generic brands that much different?

We use the Up and Up (target brand) version of Gentlease. We had no problem switching at all and she does better (less spit up) on the Target brand then Enfamil. It's half the price practically, that is the first benefit. I think they are essentially the same formula, ingredients, etc.

Sam's club as a 54oz can I think. It is 24.00.

We use the Babies R Us version (and sometimes the enfamil version too if I have a good coupon).  Never had a problem.  Can even switch back and forth with no issues.  We've been using it since he was around 6 weeks or so.  Love it.

I think that formula's are so closely regulated that they're all generally the same. I've looked at nutrition labels for Enfamil and Parent's Choice (Walmart's generic brand) and they're EXACTLY the same. Same amounts of absolutely everything and the same ingredients. I say save your money!!
