is your LO having issues with allergies?

DS developed a horrible rash on his back saturday morning. by sunday it had moved to his chest and now his poor little face is swollen and red. i took him to the doctor and they said it was allergies. that this has been the worste pollen season in a very long time. i was just wondering if anyone else's LO was having issues and what worked for you. they told me to give him 1/2  tsp of zyrtec before bed and benadryl during the day. they also gave us an RX for very expensive eye drops...ugh.

DD went to the Dr. on Friday for allergies. She has a horribly running nose, was sneezing non stop and her eyes were all watery. She now has an Rx for Clarinex. She also had a rash on her face, but we're not sure if that was from allergies or the fact that she has 6 teeth coming in right now and has been drooling 24/7. We've just been using Aveeno Hydrocortizone cream on her face at night and it's done wonders!
