    Ditto. Also, we found out that DD has allergies and she's on meds for them. They're not contagious but I'm always worried that everyone thinks my kid is going to get theirs sick.

    For some reason I guess I can just tell if it's allergies or a cold.  Probably has something to do with the idea that I have the same allergy problems and the fact that there is something in the air.  I've also noticed that his nose runs more with a cold than allergy related running.  So if it's allergies, I don't bother keeping him at home away from other kids, if it's a cold, I try my hardest not to, but I don't see it being that big of a deal if a kid gives another kid a mild cold.  If the other kid shouldn't get sick, then I think it's the parents responsibility to make sure that kid isn't around anyone or anything germy!

    same here.  I think they may have allergies already.  Sad
