Anyone have any unique ideas or recipes for something tasty that you have made for a shower.
I was originally thinking about doing jars of M&Ms with pretty ribbon - blah, but I would love something with more ummph.
A lot of years and a million tears finally led me to you.
After 7 years trying to concieve, 3 failed IUIs and 2 failed IVFs, my third IVF was a success!
My Christmas baby turned into a turkey bird! Dillon Richard was born at 34 weeks, 5 days on November 28, 2009 after 10 weeks on bedrest for preeclampsia.

Re: Edible favors - I need ideas
This is what I am giving out for my BIL's GF's shower, it is super yummy!

I found this for you:

very similar to what I saw
A friend had gigantic sugar cookies with the baby's intital in the center in pink, super cute and yummy!
for my son's baptism I grew wheat grass in glass vases (the square kind) then I made chocolate lollipops and stuck them in there put a cute bow, and a little thing that said my baptism.
For my wedding we made Mexican Wedding Cookies, people loved them!
My son's 1st bday party was last week and we did the big lollipops (walgreen has them for $1) put a label on it (from ebay) and everyone loved them.
I got this idea from a nestie a few years ago for my stepmom's shower.
For my shower we are having a "sweets" table. I am making two different types of cupcakes (I am a baker) and then we are having different jars of candy (colored m&m's, candy pacifiers, ext.). My mom bought little black chinese take out boxes and she is going to wrap colored ribbon on them and put a customized sticker on them saying "katelyns baby shower" or something like that.
That way the guests can take a cupcake and a few scoops of candy and that's that.
For SIL last year, I made mini brownie 'cupcakes' (brownie batter in mini-muffin tins), pressed the centers down, and piped pink frosting into them.
Popped into mini-cupcake wrappers, dropped into cello bags w/some paper confetti at the bottom, tied w/ribbon, and put personalized stickers on the bags (from https://www.beau-coup.com/). VERY easy-- much easier than cookie pops-- and everyone was wowed, and loved them.
For other SIL this summer, I'm going even easier, but still yummy: chocolate-dipped Oreos. I'm getting colored candy melts/almond bark from Michael's, dipping 1/2 or 3/4 of an Oreo into it, decorate w/some sprinkles, and put two into a box or bag w/coordinating ribbon and a sticker or tag (probably from beau-coup again).
Seriously could not be easier, and who doesn't love Oreos?
