Anyone switch from Nutramigen to reg formula w success?

I'm just wondering if we'll have to be on this forever
It makes him feel so much better, but as he grows, I'm hoping his stomach will mature and toughen up so we can get back to regular formula. No one in the family has any food allergies or sensitivities, so we were surprised when he had to start the Nutramigen. We'll stay on forever if we have to, but I plan to try to reintroduce a different formula at some point to see if we can escape the clutches of Nutramigen

We switched DS off of Nutramigen onto Similac Sensitive. It is a milk based formula but is lactose free. He has been on the Similac for a week now and is doing great.
Our LO went from Nutramigen to Similac Soy. She was having 10-15 BMs a day with nutramingen - very wet and decreased urine. It was going through her way too fast. She's doing okay on Simulac Soy so far, but I guess time will tell. This formula game is not fun.
We used Alimentum and ended up having to switch to EleCare and at almost 20 months old, he's still on this $$$ formula. And like you, no food allergies in our familes either.
Hopefully your time with Nutramigen is short.
