5 lb challenge - Monday

Food (rate how you did 1-5): 2, we went to mighty fine for lunch yesterday...i didn't get a cheeseburger or mayo like i normally do and we always split fries and a shake.  i had to use about 5 of my weekly points to still eat dinner:)

Any commentary (motivation, great recipe, challenge you're having, etc.) after having mighty fine yesterday, i'm determined to have a great week with my eating so i still see good numbers on friday!

  • Food (rate how you did 1-5): 3 - I did really well until DH came home with a donut for me.
    Activity (rate how you did 1-5): 4 - hit the gym

    Any commentary (motivation, great recipe, challenge you're having, etc.) I have only 8 weeks before picture day.  Hoping to be as good as possible until then.

  • Food (rate how you did 1-5): 2, We went to the movies (How to Train Your Dragon is AWESOME) and I had popcorn and peanut m&ms.  Then for dinner we went out, but I did ok.  I only ate half a mushroom burger.

    I only lost 1 pound last week.  I know I can do way better this week. It's finally stopped raining here so I'll go running after work.  My goal this week is to drink more water.  I think I confuse thirst for hunger a lot.

  • Food: 5 - ate really well yesterday - it has helped that I've started premaking my lunches and planning my meals.  I stayed under my pts goal yesterday.

    Activity - 5 - I completed my fifth workout for last week!  I'm mixing up my workouts between the JM 30 Day Shred, Women's Health Total Workout in 10, and the Wii Active.  So far it's going well.

    Motivation- feeling great - especially after my weight loss last week!

  • Food: 5..I stayed slightly under my calories again
    Activity: 3..I finally went out for a walk yesterday but I only did 40 minutes instead of 60
    Motivation: 4

    Today is my weigh-in day and I've lost 1.4 lbs since last Monday (even with AF rearing her ugly head). I'm 2 lbs. from my pre-pg weight!

    Current goal lost: 4.8 out of 5..do we just start with another 5 once we reach our goal..or are we supposed to re-start every week or every other week?

  • I'm home in the valley (south texas not CA) for my grandma's funeral. On the way down my cousin (who is size 4 naturally Angry) was saying no point/calorie counting this week. I haven't been counting and I have been eating VERY good food. It's hard because we have the BEST mexican food especially when you have homemade mexican with homemade tortillas. The good news is that I'm not being excessive even though I'm enjoying the home cooking. We'll see what the weight looks like with the combo of emotions/stress with the mexican food. Good luck ladies.
  • I was in New Orleans all weekend, so I'll just leave it there.  I didn't gain any while we were gone, we did a lot of walking.  So it starts again NOW!  LOL

    Activity (rate how you did 1-5) 2- I did a few sit-ups, but that's about it.  I run my arse off at work several days a week, though.
    Motivation (rate how you're feeling 1-5) 2- I was not motivated last week.  I finally got to a place I felt comfortable with my weight, not where I want to be but comfortable, and I just let my diet go all week. :(  I am much more motivated this week, since all the new pants I just bought are too tight in the waist now.
    Any commentary (motivation, great recipe, challenge you're having, etc.) I like to eat, that's my challenge.  I'm hoping this challenge keeps me motivated.  I gained 3 lbs last week.

  • Food (rate how you did 1-5) 3 I did okay yesterday but it could have been better. We went to the RR express game and I had a soda but no food. I did have mcdonalds happy meal instead of a extra value meal. I still need to consume more water

    Motivation (rate how you're feeling 1-5) 1 weekends are tough I don't plan food on the weekends and because Dh can eat whatever the he1l he wants and he continues to lose weight. I am not liking him at the moment and he is not encouraging at all. He is fine if we sit on are arse all evening.

  • Yep, just start a new five when you reach it! I'm keeping track via a weekly recap - we can have a 5lb club and you would be in it twice-over for 10 lbs. And put it in your post or sigs to inspire the rest of us! And again - cheer your fellow losers (ha,ha) on via the Congrats post below!!

  • Food (rate how you did 1-5): 3 ... I was doing great ... until lasagna last night. In it's defense, it was whole wheat pasta and 95/5 ground beef! But the cheese ... oooh the cheese!

    Activity (rate how you did 1-5): Yesterday, 2. Didn't actually work out, but we busted our behinds working around the house. Brag - I totally fixed the garage door all by myself!

    Motivation (rate how you're feeling 1-5): 5 - Great right now! House full of healthy food and I kicked butt at the gym this morning!
